ABOUT THE ARTIST
Christina Nouveau is a Comfort local. She has many passions In life, and art expression that echoes the lighter side of life is her favorite. Rust, sticks, wire, wood, and colors explode onto canvas, paper or wood. Found objects become rustic versions of their painted sisters. Her placement of black words on white parchment, writing soft words or hard words, but always words with poetic soul flow into her art. Wire work that takes shape as flowers, seed pods and baskets is another avenue of expression. With her camera always In hand, she captures moments that she then turns Into collages, notecards, or prints on wood panels.
