INSTRUCTED CLASSES
This class focuses on drawing the human figure from a life model. Through a series of short exercises in quick sketch and blind contour, students develop their sense of proportion and structure of the human figure. They learn how to draw by seeing the figure as shapes, volumes, light, shadows, and forms. This figure drawing class includes instruction, demonstration, and model fee. Instructed classes are open to artists of all levels, including those with no life drawing experience.

OPEN STUDIO - NO INSTRUCTION
Prerequisite: "SCTX Life Drawing with Instruction" or prior experience with life drawing from a professional studio model is required
Professional studio models are made available for you to draw. Fee covers model fee, utilities, and a class monitor. No instruction or materials are provided.

Materials are available for first-time students or those who forget items. Some supplies may be available for purchase.
SPACE IS LIMITED! Out of respect for the health of our students, models and instructors during this time, these classes are limited to 4 students max to allow for social distancing. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
We strongly encourage students to register online at least 5 days prior to the class(es) you plan to attend. We spend a lot of time coordinating models who drive distances to model for us, and we have to pay them whether or not a class makes. Space is also limited, so if you want to secure one of the 4 spots, you will want to do so in advance.
