When you visit Studio Comfort, plan to stay a while. Comfort is a small town situated in the scenic landscape of the Texas Hill Country. It has a beautifully preserved historic business district, loads of character, and a thriving community of friendly, active residents. Comfort is unique in that it was founded by German immigrants who were Freethinkers and abolitionists, and there are several places in town where you can learn more about this rich history. We think these things, along with its convenient location just off I-10 approximately 45 miles from San Antonio International Airport, make Comfort the perfect location for an intimate contemporary artist studio and gallery.
